Welcome to the January e-newsletter. Can you believe that 2018 is nearly upon us? We hope 2017 was prosperous for your organization. It is our mission to partner with you and work passionately to ensure that Northern Colorado Manufacturers and our communities thrive. We are excited to continue to offer programming through lunch and learns, insite tours, networking events, the NOCOM trade show and many other events and programs to grow the industry, grow jobs and to better connect you to the community.
The bi-annual All Manufacturers Meeting is Thursday, January 18th at AIMS Community College in Greeley. Please mark your calendars and join us where membership gathers to discuss partnership initiatives, announce board elections and volunteer winners and upcoming partnership news.

Sarah Hughs of the Colorado District of SBA, will be presenting on the most commonly utilized SBA loan programs for manufacturers and answering any questions you might have pertaining to these programs. She will also provide an overview of the Small Manufacturer’s AdvantEDGE program — a partnership program providing integrated support to small manufacturers across Colorado.

Futures Night – Highlighting Skilled Trades 2/5
The the future’s night will be held in the Longs Peak Student Center on Monday, February 5th from 6-8pm. Their will be a panel discussion and an exhibition for attendees and professionals to mingle. Save the date and more details to come.
Board Nomination Update
Thank you to everyone that submitted nominations for the 2018 board election. We are in the process on reviewing the nominations and the 5 new board members will be announced at the All Manufacturers Meeting January 18th.

This committee continues to be incredibly busy working to promote manufacturing as a career for students and to encourage dialogue between education and industry to align their training and workforce needs. Fall High School Tours have wrapped up.
