NOCOM 2019 | Post Show Information

Successful trade show in spite of  the snow! Largest B2B to date!

On behalf of the Northern Colorado Manufacturing Partnership Board and the NOCOM planning team, thank you to all that made NOCOM 2019 a success with over 900 attendees and over 125 exhibitors (in spite the incredible snow storm which we are now calling SNOWCOM). Nothing stops our manufacturers! 2019 booth and revenue sales increased from last year by 4% providing funding for 2019 NoCo Manufacturing Sector Partnership programs. These programs fuel the NoCo mission to make American manufacturing great by driving a passionate, collaborative partnership, so that Northern Colorado manufacturing and our communities thrive.

Thank you to Rich Warner from Upstate Colorado for kicking off the show! High School and college students from Northern Colorado also visited the show getting the chance to interact with our exhibitors and expand their understanding of the industry. The feedback from the students and manufacturers continue to be positive and our exhibitors always appreciate a steady traffic flow.

A special thank you to our speakers who shared on a variety of topics including: Manufacturing Workforce Solutions: Plan for today and the future!, How to STOP the COP-OUT Syndrome & Build a Culture of Ownership in Your Organization, Best Practices for Strategic Partnering to Increase Performance & Profit, and Taking the Manufacturing Journey to Operational Excellence: What We’re Seeing in the Field. These sessions were very well attended. Thank you to AuerCPA, Co. and FirstBank for sponsoring the speaker hall.

The show closed with the largest NOCOM B2B Network Reception to date with over 250 attendees! NOCOM friends connected and developed new business relationships while enjoying drinks and hors d’oeuvres with an update by Betsy Markey, Executive Director of OEDIT on initiatives of the Governor Jared Polis’s cabinet and OEDIT. Thank you H2 Manufacturing Solutions and Manufacturer’s Edge for sponsoring the event and Longmont Economic Development Partnership for sponsoring the drinks. Prize drawing sponsor included H2 Manufacturing Solutions, Aleph Objects, United Power and NoCo Mfg Partnership.

We want to recognize and thank our major trade show sponsors for their continued support: Aerotek, City of Loveland, CAP Logistics, Colorado Business Round Table, EKS&H Plante Moran, FirstBank, Flood & Peterson, Hoff & Leigh and OEDIT.
