NOCOM Trade Show Announces Trade Show Reschedule Due to COVID-19

LOVELAND, Colo., March 12, 2020 — Northern Colorado Manufacturing Partnership (NoCo) announces a reschedule date of Thursday, June 11, 2020 for the upcoming April 9th NOCOM Trade Show due to growing concerns regarding the ongoing spread of COVID-19, and recommendations of the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.

Tuesday March 10th, Governor Polis declared a state of emergency for Colorado. Per his press release, this declaration will help ensure resources are available to the state to combat COVID-19. Wednesday, President Trump issued a proclamation under section 212(f) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) to restrict travel to the United States from foreign nationals who have recently been in certain European countries.

The safety and well being of NOCOM exhibitors and attendees is of the utmost importance and rescheduling the April 9th Trade Show to June will prevent attendees from any potential exposure. NOCOM looks forward to hosting all exhibitors on June 11th. Manufacturers and their supply chain need to connect more than ever and the trade show app is live and available as a database including company contact information and description of services/products offered.

NOCOM is Colorado’s largest manufacturing tradeshow, organized by local business leaders. The event showcases Northern Colorado’s expanding manufacturing sector as well as connects suppliers, manufacturers, capital, and services. To date, the show has over 120 exhibitors registered to participate in the show.

“NoCo continues to demonstrate support of manufacturing across a range of industries,” said Heidi Hostetter, NOCOM 2020 trade show chair. “Colorado is one of the fastest growing states in the nation; Northern Colorado, specifically Larimer and Weld counties, is growing twice as fast as the state. Based on industry-feedback, we are expanding to include the construction industry as part of the 2020 show.”
