NoCo Manufacturing Partnership Announces NOCOM SME Lunch and Learn Series

 Loveland, Colorado, Wednesday, July 14, 2021 — Northern Colorado Manufacturing Partnership (NoCO) has announced that its NOCOM 2021 manufacturing trade show will be held in person on n September 23, 2021. All major sponsors are returning for the 2021 event : Aerotek, FirstBank, Flood and Peterson, Plante Moran and Precision Machined Products. The event showcases Northern Colorado’s expanding manufacturing sector and connects suppliers, manufacturers, capital, and services.

A NOCOM Subject Matter Expert (SME) Lunch and Learn Series will kick off the NOCOM 2021 season.  The SME Lunch and Learn Series features four virtual sessions in the weeks before that main trade show that showcase industry expertise in staffing, finance, insurance, and health.  Major session speakers include Aerotek, FirstBank, Flood and Peterson, Plante Moran, and Kaiser Permanente.

About Northern Colorado Manufacturing Partnership

The NoCo Manufacturing Partnership was formed in 2013 as a result of Governor Hickenlooper’s state Economic Development plan called the Colorado Blue Print. The Blue Print identified 11 key sectors of the economy in Colorado by region. Northern Colorado’s two main sectors identified were Health and Wellness and Advanced Manufacturing. Regions within the state were encouraged to form sector partnerships to provide more localized grass roots support to augment state efforts in each sector. These would be industry specific, led by business, in partnership with economic development, education and workforce development. A collaboration arose as part of the Blue Print process involving people from each of these affiliations and the NoCo Manufacturing Partnership was born.
