NoCO Manufacturing Partnership Announces Job Fair Addition to NOCOM

Loveland, Colorado, Wednesday, August 11, 2021 Northern Colorado Manufacturing Partnership (NoCO) has announced that they will be adding a job fair the afternoon of the NOCOM Trade Show from 2:00PM to 4:00PM on Thursday, September 23rd with a Networking Reception to follow at the The Ranch Events Complex.

Manufacturers in Colorado have a growing need for additional workforce now more than ever. The NOCOM Trade Show provides an ideal platform for manufacturers to connect with their supply chain and attract job seekers to the thriving industry of manufacturing. Exhibitors at the trade show will have the option of participating in the job fair in the afternoon of the show.

NOCOM has partnered with Larimer County Economic and Workforce Development (LCEWD), Employment Services of Weld County and Workforce Boulder County to plan and manage the job fair. Their expertise and network will ensure the event’s success. LCEWD and partners will provide additional support to job seekers with resume help and workshops while helping employers prepare their HR/Hiring Managers with best practices to get them prepared for success. Nordson Medical is the proud sponsor of the “Cheers and Chips” Networking Reception that will further connect job seekers and employers at the end of the job fair.

“The Larimer County Economic and Workforce Development, Employment Services of Weld County, and Workforce Boulder County are excited to collaborate and help connect job seekers with meaningful employment and business with a talented workforce.” Said Andrew Minor, Workforce Connections Team Coordinator of Larimer County Economic and Workforce Development Department.

“Deep, diverse Winning Teams enable the growth, success, and future of our customers as well as Nordson.” Said Justin Hall, General Manager, Nordson Medical.  “The NOCOM Job Fair gives Nordson the opportunity to attract talent that reflects the diversity of our area while supporting the community we operate in.”

About Northern Colorado Manufacturing Partnership

The NoCO Manufacturing Partnership was formed in 2013 because of Governor Hickenlooper’s state Economic Development plan called the Colorado Blueprint. The Blueprint identified 11 key sectors of the economy in Colorado by region. Northern Colorado’s two main sectors identified were Health and Wellness and Advanced Manufacturing. Regions within the state were encouraged to form sector partnerships to provide more localized grass roots support to augment state efforts in each sector. These would be industry specific, led by business, in partnership with economic development, education and workforce development. A collaboration arose as part of the Blueprint process involving people from each of these affiliations and the NoCO Manufacturing Partnership was born. It continues to be an all-volunteer, business led, FREE membership organization designed to support Northern Colorado manufacturers. It is served by a Board of Directors, representing each affiliation from private business to local government, as well as two active committees: Networking and Manufacturing Talent/Rocks!
